This Refund and Return Policy outlines our clear, fair process for returns, exchanges, and refunds. It applies to all purchases made on necklacestyle.com.

1. Return Window and Eligibility

You may request a return or exchange within 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order (as shown on your tracking information).

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The jewelry must be unworn, unused, and in the same condition as when delivered.
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must remain intact and attached (especially important for rings and items with sizing considerations).
  • Include all accessories provided (e.g., care cards, gift boxes).
  • Provide proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email).

We inspect all returned items upon receipt. If the item does not meet these conditions, we may deny the return or issue a partial refund/store credit at our discretion.

2. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded for hygiene, safety, or customization reasons:

  • Final sale, clearance, or promotional items marked as "non-returnable."
  • Gift items or free mystery gifts included with orders.
  • Customized or personalized jewelry (e.g., engraved pieces).
  • Items that show signs of wear, damage caused by the customer, or missing parts/tags.
  • Gift cards or digital products.

3. Return Process

Follow these steps to initiate a return:

    • Your order number.
    • The item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
    • Reason for return (e.g., change of mind, sizing issue, not as expected).
    • Photos if claiming damage or defect (highly recommended for faster processing).
  2. Receive Approval: Our team will review and respond within 24-48 business hours (Monday-Friday) with approval, return instructions, and our return shipping address (East Haven, CT area).
  3. Ship the Item Back:
    • Use a trackable shipping method (we recommend USPS Priority or similar for jewelry).
    • Package securely to prevent damage during transit (use original or equivalent protective materials).
    • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (see Section 4).
    • We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit—keep your tracking number.
  4. Inspection and Processing:
    • Upon receipt, we inspect the item (typically within 1-2 business days).
    • If approved, we process your refund or exchange promptly.

  • Refund Method: Issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.). Processing time: 3-5 business days after inspection approval. Bank/processor delays may add 5-10 extra days.
  • Exchanges: If exchanging for a different item, we cover return shipping only if it's our error; otherwise, you pay return and we ship the new item at no extra cost (subject to stock).
  • Partial Refunds: May apply if item is slightly used or missing minor accessories.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your jewelry arrives damaged, defective, or not as described:

  • Contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery for best resolution) with photos and order details.
  • We will make it right: full refund (including original shipping), replacement, or repair (at our discretion).
  • For defects covered under our 365-day color warranty (tarnish-resistant claims), provide evidence—we handle case-by-case.

6. Lost or Delayed Packages

We partner with reliable carriers (e.g., USPS). If your package is lost, stolen, or significantly delayed:

  • Contact the carrier first to file a claim (use your tracking number).
  • Provide us with any required info—we'll assist with proof of shipment.
  • In most cases, we can reship or refund after carrier confirmation (usually 10-30 days post-shipment).

7. Important Notes

  • All returns must be pre-approved with a Return Merchandise Authorization (via email)—unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
  • We do not accept returns to P.O. boxes or non-US addresses unless pre-arranged.
